Went from a cramped 18-55mm kit to this and I’m honestly amazed at the reach without swapping lenses on a hike. The 16.6x zoom range is honestly the selling point here—I’ve swapped lenses maybe twice since I got it, and the autofocus is snappy enough for my kids’ soccer games. It’s heavy on the Z body, but the image stabilization makes handheld shots crisp even at the long end.
