Promaster 72mm Protection Filter - Basis

I was a little nervous about adding another layer of glass, but this filter is so thin and unobtrusive that I honestly forget it's on. It's doing its job as a shield for the front element without any visible hit to sharpness, which is exactly what I wanted.

The glass is crystal clear and the thread mounts smoothly onto my lens - I barely notice it's there. It’s done its job protecting my front element from dust and a few knocks, and sharpness hasn’t taken a hit.

I swapped out my UV filter for this one, and the image quality is noticeably clearer. The multi-coating really cuts down on glare without adding any weird color cast. Feels solid on the lens too.
