Promaster 49mm Protection Filter - Basis

I was a little worried a filter would soften my images, but this one keeps everything tack sharp while doing its main job of protecting the front element. It screwed on smoothly and feels solid, so I don't mind leaving it on all the time.

The glass is crystal clear right out of the box, and it threads on smoothly without any wobble. It's a no-fuss shield that keeps my lens safe without adding bulk or affecting image quality.

I was hesitant about putting any glass in front of my lens, but this one is so clear I honestly can't tell it's there. The threading went on smooth and it's a solid, reassuring weight that makes me feel better about shooting near the beach.
