Promaster 39mm UV HGX Prime

The ground and polished multicoated glass is noticeably clearer than the standard UV filters I've used before. It screws onto my lens smoothly and hasn't introduced any unwanted color cast to my shots.

I was worried cheap filters would degrade image quality, but the polished coating on this one doesn't introduce any noticeable haze or flare. It screws on smoothly and feels solid for the price; my lens cap fits just fine.

The individually ground glass is noticeably smoother than any clip-on I've used, and the coating repels smudges after a day of hiking. Colors stay true with no haze even shooting straight into a low sun.
