Promaster 105mm IRND4X (.6) HGX Prime

The glass on this filter feels incredibly solid, and the coating truly repels dust and smudges during outdoor shoots. It cut down the harsh IR cast in my foliage shots while keeping the color neutral. Definitely my go-to for long exposure landscapes now.

I was skeptical about IRND filters, but this one’s ground and polished glass feels premium in hand. It cleaned up color casts on my stills without making the image look muddy.

Finally, a filter that doesn't turn my foliage shots into a muddy mess. The dirt-repelling coating is no joke; I barely had to wipe it down after a dusty day at the coast, and the infrared suppression kept the blacks looking truly black.
