Setting this up in studio actually takes less time than mounting my camera on the tripod, the umbrella-style pop open is that quick. The 24x47 inch size gives a nice, elongated catchlight and wraps around my subject beautifully for portraits.

I’ve used this softbox with a Bowens mount light, and the umbrella-style setup genuinely took under ten seconds once I got the hang of it. The subtle directional control from the rectangular shape gives really nice feathered light on a portrait subject.

Popped this open on set and it was genuinely ready before I finished adjusting my stand, which never happens with softboxes. The rectangular shape gives such a nice catchlight and the Bowens mount clicked right onto my light without any wrestling.
