The silver side throws a surprising amount of fill light into shadows, and the fabric feels sturdy enough to survive being stuffed in my bag all day. I love how quick it is to flip between the two surfaces when the clouds shift mid-shoot. It’s become my go-to for outdoor portraits without a flash.

The 41-inch disc collapses down small enough to slip into my camera bag’s side pocket, so it’s actually with me on every shoot now. Took a few tries to get the bounce angle right for filling shadows on a bright day, but the translucent panel softened the light exactly as I hoped.
