Leica Filter Orange, E49

The orange hue really cuts through atmospheric haze, giving my black-and-white landscapes a dramatic contrast boost. It threaded onto my 49mm lens smoothly and feels solid, no wobble at all.

Put this orange filter on my 49mm lens and the sky in my black-and-white shots really pops now, with much better contrast. It threads on smoothly and feels solidly built. Exactly the haze-cutting effect I was hoping for.

The threads on this 49mm ring are machined so precisely that it screws on and off without any binding, which I appreciate on a filter. It's cut down the glare off water and bright skies noticeably for my black-and-white shots, giving the clouds real separation without overdoing the effect.
