Finally, a backpack that holds my 500mm f/4 plus a body without feeling like I'm carrying a suitcase. The padded laptop sleeve is snug and the extra depth makes all the difference for my heavy gear.

I’d been worried about fitting a gripped body with a 70-200 attached, but this bag’s depth handled it without a struggle. The padded laptop sleeve also keeps my 15” secure, and the whole thing feels balanced even when fully loaded.

The depth is the real win here—I can keep a 400 f/2.8 mounted and still slide in my iPad and 15” laptop without forcing the zipper. The padding around the camera compartment is stiff but reassuring, and it fits under an airplane seat like it was made for it.
