The center translucent disc is a lifesaver for diffusing harsh strobes during portraits, and the zippered case keeps everything organized between setups. I’ve used it for product shots too, and swapping between the gold and white panels takes seconds. It’s flimsier than a softbox but packs flat, so

I use the white diffuser disc to soften my studio strobe for headshots and it really does create a beautiful, even light without harsh shadows. The whole kit folds flat into its own pouch, which makes it easy to toss in my camera bag between shoots.

The gold/silver panels give me just the right amount of kick for outdoor portraits, and the whole thing folds down small enough to toss in my camera bag.
