I was really impressed with how stable the legs felt even on uneven ground. It converts between full-size and compact modes smoothly. Definitely worth the money for the build quality.

The convertible design is incredibly handy—I switched it from a full-size tripod to a compact mode in seconds for a low-angle shot. The legs feel sturdy even when fully extended, and the lock mechanisms click into place securely. Exactly what I needed for reliable field use.

Screwing the legs out to full height took about thirty seconds, and the convertible lock is smooth enough to switch mid-shoot without fumbling. Solid construction handled a gusty hillside without a wobble, so this is my go-to for uneven terrain now.
