Promaster 55mm UV HGX Prime

The multi-coated glass is noticeably clearer than the cheap UV filters I've used before, and it doesn't introduce any weird color cast into my shots. It threads on smoothly and feels solid in hand.

I was skeptical about spending extra on a filter, but the individual grinding and polishing really shows—it's noticeably sharper than my old one. The coating handles flare beautifully in bright sun, and it hasn't affected image quality at all.

The coating on this filter is flawless—zero reflections even shooting straight into window light. It’s thin enough that I forgot it was on, and the glass feels rock-solid for the price.
