Promaster 49mm UV HGX Prime

First time using a individually ground filter and the difference in image clarity is noticeable right away—no more weird haze in bright daylight. The coating on this one repels dust and fingerprints much better than my old one too.

I was a bit skeptical about paying more for a filter, but the individual grinding and polishing really does make a difference in sharpness. It screwed on smoothly with no binding, and I haven't noticed any color cast in my shots.

The multi-coated glass is noticeably clearer than the cheap filter I had before, and it threads onto my lens butter-smooth. I’ve left it on for outdoor portraits and haven’t seen any weird color cast.
