The paint finish looks even better in person, and the focus ring has that perfect damped feel. I’ve been getting sharper images at f/2 than I expected, especially in the corners.

The apochromatic correction is the real deal—color fringing is simply gone, even wide open at f/2. It's heavy and solid in the hand, but the images have a clarity that makes me want to shoot everything at f/2.8 just to see what it does.

I was skeptical about the price until I saw the micro-contrast in my test shots—those fine textures just pop without any fringing. The focus ring has just the right dampening for precise adjustments, making street shooting feel effortless.
