Canon RAIN COVER ERC-R5L

It poured all afternoon during a shoot and my R5 Mark II stayed bone dry while I never had to take my hands off the controls. The large opening makes it easy to reach the buttons even with gloves on, and it folds down small enough to stash in my bag.

Finally a cover that lets me actually reach all the buttons on my R5 Mark II during a storm, the clear window over the top screen is a lifesaver when shooting in heavy rain. I’ve used it in two downpours so far and not a drop got inside, the seal around the lens mount feels solid and secure.

The seal around the lens mount feels solid, and I was able to adjust settings without lifting the cover in a downpour. It’s bulkier than I expected, but that’s the trade-off for full protection on a gripped body.
