Flic Film Infrared 720NM Filter - 52mm

I was able to get clear infrared shots without any strange color casts—the glass is surprisingly flat and neutral for a filter in this price range. The threading on the 52mm version fits snugly on my lens, which is a relief since cheap filters often feel loose.

Switching to infrared photography was easier than I expected once I screwed on this 52mm filter; the 720nm cutoff really blocks visible light cleanly. The images come out with that classic white foliage look right out of the camera.

This filter lets me shoot handheld in bright sun without a tripod, which I couldn’t do with cheaper IR filters. The 52mm threads are smooth and mount without any fiddling, though it does add a slight magenta cast that needs correcting in post.
