All-In-One Lens

The Tamron 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 is the world's first lens for APS-C mirrorless cameras with a 16.6x zoom ratio, the greatest feature of this lens, covering wide-angle to an ultra-telephoto range (27mm to 450mm full-frame equivalent). The lens is designed for Sony E-mount APS-S mirrorless cameras. With this broad coverage, the lens empowers shooting in a wide variety of situations, including everyday life and travel snapshots, both wide-angle and dynamic ultra-telephoto landscape photography and macro photography.

Best-In-Class Autofocus

Its AF drive system uses Tamron’s VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor focus mechanism for superior quietness and agile performance; and the lens includes special lens elements arranged precisely to maintain high resolution performance from edge-to-edge and provide high image quality making it the best of all all-in-one zoom lenses.

Uncompromising Optical Performance

With an MOD (Minimum Object Distance) of 5.9" at 18mm, and a remarkable maximum magnification ratio of 1:2, this lens performs astonishingly well when shooting up close. The lens is equipped with Tamron's proprietary VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism, effectively reducing image blur caused by camera shake in low-light conditions or in the ultra-telephoto range at slower shutter speeds. With a wide variety of other features for comfortable shooting, this is a highly versatile lens that allows you to easily enjoy high image quality from wide-angle to ultra-telephoto and paves the way for exciting new photographic experiences.

Avery K. ★★★★★

Went from a cramped 18-55mm kit to this and I’m honestly amazed at the reach without swapping lenses on a hike. The VC image stabilization is a lifesaver at the long end, and the focus is quick enough for catching my dog mid-run. Sure it’s a bit heavy, but the convenience of that 16.6x range beats c

Lily I. ★★★★★

The 16.6x zoom range is honestly the selling point here—I’ve swapped lenses maybe twice since I got it, and the autofocus is snappy enough for my kids’ soccer games. It’s heavy on the Z body, but the image stabilization makes handheld shots crisp even at the long end.

Harper J. ★★★★★

I've been chasing wildlife and landscapes with this lens and the 16.6x zoom range means I rarely have to swap glass in the field. The autofocus is snappy enough for birds in flight, and the image quality at the long end surprised me for such a compact all-in-one.
