Highest optical performance on a new level

The Sigma 20mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens is an excellent choice for capturing images in low-light environments. With a large maximum aperture, this lens is ideal for use under dark skies where its new features are especially useful. The updated functions make this lens an excellent choice for astrophotographers. In addition to the versatile still shooting modes, the FZ80 also supports recording UHD 4K/30p video at 100 Mbps in the MP4 format. Full HD 1080p/60 is also supported, as well as slow-motion 720p/120 and 480p/240 recording settings.

Superb build quality and usability with uncompromising attention to detail

Sigma's 20mm f/1.4 DG DN Art Lens is a prime wide-angle lens that is designed for full-frame Leica L mirrorless cameras. It can also be used with APS-C models where it provides a 30mm equivalent focal length. The fast f/1.4 maximum aperture is well-suited for working in low-light conditions and provides greater control over the focus position when using shallow depth of field techniques. The lens design incorporates two SLD and three aspherical elements to correct for chromatic aberrations throughout the entire focusing range and to ensure exceptional clarity and contrast.

Designed for perfect results even in the most demanding conditions

With a new MFL (Manual Focus Lock) switch, you can be sure that your focus will never change, even after hours of shooting. The aperture ring features a click switch and lock switch to prevent accidental aperture changes, and the 11-blade diaphragm helps to produce an attractive out-of-focus quality. The petal-shaped lens hood reduces lens flare when working in strong lighting conditions and offers some protection to the front element of the lens. Additionally, the 82mm front filter threads and rear filter holder accommodate sheet-type filters. The curved lip at the front of the lens keeps an optional lens heater from slipping in front of the lens, and the brass bayonet mount ensures precision and durability. This lens is also compatible with AF Assist function on select Sony E-Mount cameras. Whether you're a seasoned astrophotographer or just getting started, Sigma's 20mm f/1.4 DG DN Art lens is a great choice for capturing beautiful images of the night sky.

Matthew V. ★★★★★

I’ve been using this lens for astrophotography, and the f/1.4 aperture really lets in enough light to capture the Milky Way without cranking up ISO too much. The manual focus ring has just the right amount of resistance for precise adjustments in the dark.

Olivia ★★★★★

Shot this at f/1.4 in a dimly lit cathedral and the sharpness across the whole frame genuinely shocked me, zero coma at the edges. The build feels rock solid too, and the focus ring turns with just the right amount of dampening. If you shoot wide primes on L mount, this is the one.

Ruby ★★★★★

Night photography finally makes sense with this lens—that f/1.4 aperture lets in so much light I can shoot handheld in near darkness without noise. The build quality feels solid and precise, exactly what I needed for my Leica L mount setup.
