Paterson Super System 4 Universal Developing Tank

The Paterson Super System 4 Universal Developing Tank is designed for developing up to two rolls of film at a time, holding either two 35mm rolls or a single 120/220 roll. Made from durable, lightweight, and easy-to-clean high-impact polystyrene, this compact tank is both practical and versatile. It comes with two Paterson Auto Load Reels, a center column, funnel, lid, and agitator rod. The funnel has a light-tight, snap-in design for quick installation and removal, while the large-diameter design ensures fast filling and draining for accurate developing. The tank supports both rotary and inversion agitation methods. The Auto Load Reels, specifically made for this system, feature a smooth finish and twin ball ratchet system for easy film loading and are adjustable to accommodate 35mm, 127, and 120/220 film formats.

Ruby F. ★★★★★

First time using a tank that holds two 35mm reels at once, and it saved me a whole session of chemistry mixing. The lid seals tight enough that I stopped worrying about leaks mid-inversion, and cleanup was quick.

Scarlett J. ★★★★★

The translucent body makes it so easy to see the chemical levels during processing—no more guessing if the developer covers the film. Loading the reels was surprisingly smooth right out of the box, and the two-roll capacity fits perfectly for my workflow.

Natalie ★★★★★

Finally, a tank where loading the reels doesn't feel like a wrestling match—the grip on the spiral is just right and handles two 35mm rolls without a hitch. The pour spout drains fast and clean, so I've got consistent development every time. It's become my go-to for weekend batches, no complaints at
