Finally got the right color balance shooting Portra 800 in daylight with tungsten film; the 85B thread mounted perfectly on my 58mm lens and didn't add any weird color casts.

I’ve been using this 85B filter with my tungsten stock on sunny hikes and the colors finally come out balanced without any weird blue cast. The 58mm thread fits perfectly on my standard lens, and the build feels solid. It saves me from fiddling with white balance in post.

Shooting tungsten film outdoors used to mean guessing at colors, but this filter nails the 3200°K to 5500°K shift so my daylight shots look properly balanced without any editing fuss. The 58mm threads fit my lens snugly, and the glass is clear enough that I don't notice any loss in sharpness.
