Meet the ER-iE

The ER-iE Eyecup, designed specifically for vertical shooting, is larger than the standard eyecup for the Canon EOS R1 mirrorless camera. Its asymmetrical shape more effectively blocks stray light, and it features a 360° rotating design with clicks at 90° intervals to accommodate various handling styles. Made from silicone rubber, it provides comfortable cushioning around the camera's eyepiece and is suitable for eyeglass wearers.

Natalie ★★★★★

The asymmetrical shape blocks out stray light much better than the standard round cup, which I really notice when composing vertical shots. My eye sits comfortably against it without any light leaks, even in bright sun.

Violet ★★★★★

The larger footprint is a game-changer when I'm shooting portraits in portrait orientation—my eye no longer slips off mid-burst. It fits snugly on the R1 and blocks stray light from the side just as well as I'd hoped.

Sofia ★★★★★

The asymmetrical shape actually makes a noticeable difference when I switch to vertical shots—my eye stays put without me having to readjust every few frames. It’s noticeably larger than the stock cup, which gives just enough extra coverage to block out side glare during bright outdoor shoots.
