Promaster 82mm UV HGX Prime

The glass is noticeably heavier and more solid than my old cheap filter, and I love that it's individually ground and polished. On a bright day by the lake, my photos have that crisp contrast I was missing before. No more washed-out haze in the sky.

I can see the difference immediately in my outdoor shots—the colors are more natural and the haze is gone. The individually ground glass feels solid in hand, no distortion on the edges with my wide-angle lens.

The multi-coating on this one is so smooth that I actually forgot it was on the lens until I checked the front. It blocks UV without adding any noticeable tint to my shots, and the 82mm threads fit my favorite telephoto perfectly.
