Promaster 67mm IRND4X (.6) HGX Prime

Been using this filter on my telephoto lens and the ground glass really does cut down on infrared pollution, leaving colors punchy without any weird tint. The coatings seem to repel dust and smudges well too, which is a relief for outdoor shoots.

My ultrawide lens has never looked this clean—the IR suppression really cuts that magenta cast in landscapes. Ground glass and coatings feel premium against my fingers, definitely worth the jump from standard ND filters.

First time using an IRND filter, and the difference in the sky exposure is immediate—the infrared suppression keeps the clouds from blowing out while the ground stays properly lit. The glass feels solidly ground, and the coating repels dust so I don’t have to clean it mid-shoot.
