Promaster 37mm IRND4X (.6) HGX Prime

The multi-coated surface really does repel smudges and dust, making it easy to keep clean during shoots. Colors stay true without that weird infrared shift I used to get with cheaper ND filters.

I was skeptical about infrared suppression making a difference, but it really cleaned up the skies in my landscape shots. The polish on these HGX Prime filters is noticeable too, no halo or weird flaring even in bright sun.

The dirt-repelling coating actually works—after a dusty shoot, a quick wipe and there’s zero smudging left on the glass. The IR suppression is subtle but real, cutting that faint purple cast in foliage without shifting the overall color. Feels solidly built, too, like it’ll outlast my camera body.
