Paterson 12" Color Thermometer

The long 12-inch stem lets me read the temperature without dipping my fingers into the developer, which keeps everything clean. It’s much more responsive than my old dial thermometer, and the markings are easy to see even in dim safelight conditions.

I’ve been using this thermometer for my color C-41 baths, and the 12-inch length makes it easy to read the temp without dipping my fingers in the chemistry. The liquid response is fast enough for me to monitor shifts during preheating.

The markings are bold enough to read without squinting even in dim darkroom light, which makes a huge difference when I'm mid-process. It's a sturdy glass build that feels like it'll survive years of tray dips. Color work feels way less stressful now.
