Nikon 10-22x50 Action Binoculars

Used these on a whale-watching trip and the 10-22x zoom let me go from scanning the whole bay to zeroing in on a spout without fumbling for focus. The 50mm objectives keep things bright even in overcast weather, and the twist-up eyecups were comfy for my glasses. Solid pair for the price.

The zoom from 10x to 22x is smooth and quick, and the 50mm lenses pull in enough light that even dusk viewing stays crisp. I've used them for birdwatching and the focus ring turns easily with one hand, which makes tracking a moving target much less frustrating.

Took these to a football game and the 50mm lenses let me see the players' numbers crystal clear even under the stadium lights. The full-size body is a bit heavy for hiking, but for stationary viewing it's a solid trade-off.
