TIFFEN 86mm Haze 1 Filter

Really cleaned up the sky in my landscape shots without any color shift I could notice — the multicoated glass is definitely doing its job. I’ve used cheaper UV filters before and this haze filter is noticeably sharper.

I was worried this 86mm filter might add glare, but it actually cuts through the midday haze beautifully on my telephoto lens. The optical clarity is noticeably better than my old UV filter, and it fits snugly without any wobble.

The thread locks onto my lens cleanly and doesn’t bind at all, which is a relief for an 86mm size. I’ve used it on a few hazy afternoons and the contrast boost is real without adding any weird color cast.
