This little extension finally let me mount my external microphone right where I needed it without crowding my camera cage. The cold shoe feels secure and holds the mic tightly without any wobble.

Finally got around to mounting my wireless receiver on the cage, and this extension gives just the right clearance without adding bulk. The build feels solid enough to hold a monitor without wobble, which is exactly what I needed for run-and-gun shoots.

I was looking for a low-profile way to add a monitor to my cage, and this solved it—the single screw mount is rock solid and the shoe holds tight with no wobble.
