Panasonic Lumix S 26mm f/8 レンズ (Leica L)

I was skeptical about a fixed f/8 aperture, but for quick street shots this lens forces you to think about composition in a fun way—the ultra-lightweight design means I can keep it on my camera all day without fatigue.

Light as a spare battery, this thing disappears on the body—I keep forgetting it's even mounted. The f/8 is perfect for street shots where I want everything sharp, and it just nails focus without fiddling.

Tucking this lens into a jacket pocket is almost too easy—it's practically weightless. The fixed f/8 aperture is a trade-off, but for crisp daylight street shots, the image quality is surprisingly good. I've used it more in one week than my heavier prime all month.
