SmallRig RM 40C Mini LED Video Light

The magnetic mounting system makes it incredibly easy to attach to my metal rig, and the build feels sturdy enough for regular use. It’s small enough to slip into my camera bag without sacrificing output.

Charging it up before a shoot takes no time at all, and the fact that it’s this small yet still bright enough for close-up product shots honestly surprised me. I’ve thrown it in my backpack all week without noticing the weight, and the color stays consistent even when I dim it down.

The dimming curve is super smooth, so I can dial in exactly the right intensity for close-up product shots without any harsh jumps. It’s genuinely tiny but throws enough light for a small desk setup, and the battery life has held up through a full afternoon of filming.
