Promaster 58mm Circular Polarizer HGX Prime

Used this for a sunrise shoot with heavy haze, and the difference in contrast and color pop was immediate. Compared to my old polarizer, I'm getting usable shots at much faster shutter speeds thanks to the extra light transmission. The image quality remained tack sharp with no unwanted color casts.

Shot some landscape shots by a lake and the color saturation came out noticeably richer without any extra tweaking in post. The 30% extra light transmission really helps in early morning golden hour, making it easier to keep a fast shutter speed.

I’ve used it on overcast days and the color saturation still pops without needing to crank the ISO, which surprised me given how dim the light was. The reduction in glare off wet leaves and glass was immediate, and the thread spins on and off my lens smoothly every time.
