Promaster 58mm UV HGX Prime Filter

I was skeptical about needing a UV filter, but this one's been on my lens for two months now and I've forgotten it's there. The glass is crystal clear with zero color shift, and it's already saved my front element from a couple of careless bumps.

The filter threads are perfectly machined and screw onto my lens smoothly without any binding. It cuts through that washed-out look on sunny days without changing the color of my photos at all. I leave it on permanently for lens protection and haven't noticed any loss in image sharpness.

I was worried this filter would add noticeable glare, but the multi-coating keeps reflections down even shooting into the sun. It threads onto my 58mm lens without any binding, and the haze reduction is subtle yet effective in bright daylight.
