SmallRig Universal Shotgun Microphone Mount 1993

The twist-lock mechanism makes swapping mics between setups effortless, and the built-in cable management keeps everything tidy. Mounting it on my boom arm was surprisingly quick, and it holds even my heavier mic without sagging.

Finally, my shotgun mic sits secure without wobbling — the cold shoe mount clicks in perfectly tight. The plastic build feels sturdy enough for travel, and the rubber padding grips the mic barrel just right.

The rubber padding inside keeps my mic snug without any rattling, which was my biggest worry. I set it up in seconds and it hasn't budged during an hour-long recording.
