Sigma 50mm f/1.2 DG DN Art (Leica L)

I’ve been pixel-peeping at f/1.2 all week and the bokeh is creamy with zero color fringing, even wide open on my L-mount body. Focus stays tack sharp from a few inches to infinity, which honestly makes me want to shoot everything at night now.

Finally, a fast 50 that’s actually sharp wide open across the whole frame. The bokeh at f/1.2 is buttery smooth with zero color bleeding, even in tricky backlit shots.

The way it handles color fringing wide open is a huge relief for available-light portraits. Bokeh at f/1.2 stays smooth and clean, with no ugly halos around bright edges.
