عدسة Panasonic LUMIX S 40mm f/2.0

The f/2.0 aperture lets in enough light that I can shoot indoors without a flash, and the manual focus ring has a nice, smooth resistance. Moving around to frame each shot has really improved my photography.

I was nervous about switching from a zoom to a prime lens, but the 40mm f/2.0 fixed focal length already makes me think more deliberately about composing each shot. It’s sharper than I expected in low light, and moving myself to frame the scene feels surprisingly natural.

I kept second-guessing myself before pulling the trigger on a prime lens, but the compact size makes it so easy to just toss in my bag that I've been taking it everywhere. The f/2.0 aperture gives a lovely soft background blur, and honestly the way it pushes you to physically move to frame a shot ha
