Switching from an older USB 3 reader to this one, the file transfer times dropped dramatically when offloading 4K video clips. The aluminum body feels solid in hand and the USB4 connection was plug-and-play on my Mac.

Finally, a reader that can actually keep up with my CFexpress Type B cards — file transfers finish in seconds instead of minutes. The USB4 connection makes a huge difference when I’m dumping 200GB of RAW files after a shoot, and it’s small enough to toss in any bag pocket.

Pulled a 512GB card of 8K video off in under two minutes — the USB4 interface is noticeably faster than my old USB 3.2 reader. The all-metal body feels solid enough to toss in a camera bag without worrying.
