عدسة كانون RF 800mm f/5.6 L IS USM

The autofocus on this lens locks onto birds in flight faster than I expected, and the f/5.6 aperture still gives creamy backgrounds at 800mm. Image quality is sharp corner to corner, even wide open.

Shot some early morning wildlife and the image stabilization kept everything razor sharp even with handheld shots. Having that f/5.6 aperture and the four optics elements makes backgrounds blur beautifully while keeping the subject crystal clear.

Took it out for a weekend of birding and the image stabilization is noticeably steadier than my older gear—handheld shots at 800mm were sharp. Weight is hefty but balanced; glad I brought a monopod for long sessions. Colors and detail straight out of the camera are just stunning.
