Canon MC-20 Maintenance Cartridge

Finally had to swap in the maintenance cartridge after about a year—the printer immediately ran quieter during cleaning cycles. It’s a straightforward swap that keeps those clogged print head warnings away.

My printer was running maintenance warnings constantly until this cartridge fixed everything — installation took under two minutes and the printer is back to silent operation.

I was relieved to find this maintenance cartridge sold separately, since the one that came with the printer ran out faster than I expected. It installed in seconds and got the print head back to smooth, streak-free operation on my PRO-1000.
