Benro Quick Release Clamp 70

I was a little skeptical about the clamp's locking mechanism, but it snaps shut with a reassuring click and holds my camera rock solid. It's also lighter than my old setup, which makes a big difference during hikes with my tripod.

The clamp locks my camera plate in place with zero wobble, and the release lever is smooth enough to switch setups one-handed. It’s built solid and hasn’t loosened up after a week of hikes.

I was pleasantly surprised by how snugly my camera plate locks into this clamp — the tension wheel makes micro-adjustments a breeze. The whole thing feels solid without being bulky on my tripod setup.
